As of Wednesday, April 9, 2008, online donation through PayPal has officially closed. This blog will remain open for future updates/reference. It will close within a few months as well insha’Allah.
Alhumdulillaah, the family is doing very well. Their new place is almost completely set up and had tremendous support from the communities. There has been a huge outpouring of help – from money to materials and even food.
We’ve collected more than $20,000 online, alhamdulillah. Donations have been sent on our behalf from a US charitable organization and therefore, all online donations will be tax deductible.
All that is left for us to do is pray for their eman, pray that Allaahgrants them strength to deal with the loss of their baby, and reunites them all with baby Khalid in Jannah al-Firdous. Ameen! And Allaah knows best.
